Odigos sends non-sensitive, non-personally identifiable information to our system. This information helps Odigos maintainers to understand how the open-source community runs Odigos and improve the project.

Disabling the report

Using helm chart

When installing Odigos using helm chart, you can disable the report by setting telemetry.enabled to false.

Using CLI

When installing Odigos using CLI, you can disable the report by setting --telemetry to false.

What is being reported

Odigos collects the following anonymous information:
  • Are traces/metrics/logs enabled
  • Selected destinations type (e.g. Jaeger, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Number of instrumented applications by programming language
  • Number of unrecognized applications
  • Number of nodes
